The first way involves clipping individual coupons and organizing them into plastic sleeves like baseball card holders. Secured in a binder, the coupons are easily viewed by the shopper. Once the coupons have been inserted into the plastic sleeves, the coupons can be sorted into categories like household goods, perishables, non-perishables or cosmetics.

The second method for organizing coupons requires no immediate clipping. Take the coupon insert a part and file into a page protector. This method is initially faster than the clipping method. It is best to sort coupon inserts by date if using this method. Clip coupons as the need arises instead of clipping all the coupons at once. The downside to using the whole page method is that coupons may be harder to locate. However, by only clipping the coupons needed, time is saved over the long run.
